STEAMPUNK a “Retro-futuristic“
Another Super fashion distinctive style is Steampunk a “Retro-futuristic” ,movies like The Prestige, Van Helsing, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Hell Boy etc. Back on the zeppelin and H G wells ‘s Time Machine , The Illuminato, and the adventurers discover a clockwork kingdom inhabited by mechanical creatures. Each of the automata represents a different archetype: Utopian flying machines ,the Magician, the Wizard, the Witch, the Gypsy, the High Priestess, the Devil, the Trickster, and the Grim Reaper! . By remixing styles from the Victorian era, classic Goth, gypsy, and industrial fetish, STEAMPUNK creates a unique fantasy look. Daft Punk has been particularly interesting in this style as they use mechanized beats and sounds, similar to the ‘industrial rhythm’ that one could have imagined in factories of 19th century. The Variants have now also become in main stream of retro future .Its a whole archive in Films , books , Fashion, Accessories , Art and Music .Yet ,a lot to explore.. !
