Yes..  finally we got a chance to attend Pecha Kucha Night  @ motor city Detroit http://www.pecha-kucha.org/cities/detroit/5 and it was all and more than an inspirational fast track dose of  urban design ideas and artistic pursuits . Held at the historical  ’ Little Gem Theatre ‘  http://www.gemdetroit.com/ in  downtown Detroit , it only added to the grandeur of the experience. The presentations are quick lasting for maximum 7 minutes , giving a great insight to the ideas showcased. The presentations ranged from beautiful paintings , photographs and sculptural works with high nostalgic & material values . What struck us most were the cool urban ideas for restoring building structures, parks and freeway routes  keeping the heritage and legacy  of Detroit Downtown in consideration. A great way to embrace new ideas !! We look forward to catch up the Chapter 6 Pecha Kucha Night at Detroit Institute of Arts http://www.dia.org/
